Job Description

We are looking for an experienced marketer to take full responsibility for our regional marketing efforts at Wild Digital. Our ideal candidate is highly skilled in writing, designing marketing strategies and comfortable executing day-to-day marketing activities with tight deadlines and changing needs. This role will be responsible driving outstanding digital marketing, identifying & producing engaging content and creating impactful marketing collaterals.
In addition, we’re looking for someone to build a ‘premium content library’ and turn large data sets into thoughtful resources to drive business results.
Ultimately, this role is critical to position us as disruptive thought leaders and catapult Wild Digital to THE must-attend tech conference in the region.

Core Responsibilities

    – Identify target audiences and develop marketing plans across different channels and segments
    – Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish
    – Analyze market analysis, trends and best practices to build successful strategies
    – Conduct analytics reporting and extract key insights for future campaign development, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
    – Develop content strategy and ensure marketing efforts are communicated effectively to the public
    – Create succinct and impactful content for a variety of platforms including website, landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters, social media etc
    – Lead creative direction with the production team, develop briefs and guide to create and refine content (including print, digital and video assets)
    – Develop and implement campaigns & promotions to drive sponsorships & sales across all platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn etc)
    – Identify Wild Digital’s target market and think creatively how to reach them in the most engaging but also cost-efficient way
    – Plan and develop advertising campaigns, establish advertising budget guidelines
    – Develop an actionable plan to optimize SEO initiatives for Wild Digital’s official website
    – Constantly strive to find new solutions or tools that can up-level team efficiency & effectiveness
    – Ensure marketing guidelines are upheld
    – Conceptualize and develop sales, event & marketing collaterals (sponsorship deck, event brochure, presentation slides, web banner, promotional visuals etc)


  • Excellent written and verbal English. Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin are pluses
  • Background in writing, content strategy & development, digital marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, brand management
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workflow and meet deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to details and ability to remain creative in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter and team player who can work in an entrepreneurial environment and contribute with modest supervision/direction
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • 4-8 years of working experience in social media, marketing & communications or similar field
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing plans and campaigns
  • Experience with video & photo editing, creative designing (Adobe, Canva etc) would be a bonus
  • Experience in B2B marketing & communications or startups would be a bonus

Catcha Group is looking for exceptional Analysts to join our Investment Team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As part of the investment team, you’ll play an active role in formulating investment theses, conducting diligence, and structuring transactions in the technology sectors, as well as assist in monitoring portfolio companies. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and be involved in launching new businesses from scratch, investing in startups or conducting M&A and scaling these businesses. The ideal candidate has past working experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Management Consulting and VC-backed startups. This role is particularly suitable for candidate who aspires to become an entrepreneur or investor in the technology sector in the future.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • New business launch and investment:
    • Conduct sector research and business analysis to identify new investment opportunities
    • Research and recommend new startups and ideas to build or invest in
    • Evaluate startups and run diligence on businesses across multiple categories
    • Research and prepare information, analysis, financial modeling and support at all stages of the investment process including negotiation, due diligence and the mechanics of completing the transaction
    • Devise transaction strategies based on a complete understanding of the organization, the price-value comparison, the risks and the comfort around the entrepreneurs’ value system
  • Portfolio monitoring and management:
    • Support the team in growing our portfolio companies. This includes research on strategy, improve reporting and recruit incredible talents
    • Facilitate, coordinate and monitor the availability of a variety of support systems needed by our portfolio companies
    • Build a productive and collaborative alliance at an operating level within the portfolio companies that facilitate two-way communication and information sharing
  • General strategic initiatives:
    • Assist the team with the preparation of materials for external meeting
    • Support team on general analysis and researches
    • Track business and regulatory trends to monitor key developments
    • Research for topics and prospects for thematic presentations
    • Continuous networking in the industry to maintain the active presence of Catcha


  • Strong passion and curiosity for technology
