Patrick Grove
As Co-Founder and Group CEO of Catcha Group, Patrick Grove is recognised as one of the leading entrepreneurs in the Asia Pacific region. Over the last thirteen years he founded and took five companies from start-up to IPO, recently selling one of those companies, iProperty Group in a transaction valued in excess of US$534m. The iProperty Group sale was one of the largest Internet exits in ASEAN history.
He is Co-Founder and Chairman of Catcha Group’s newest business, iflix, the world’s leading Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) service for emerging markets. He is additionally Co-Founder and Director of iCar Asia (ASX: ICQ) and Co-Founder of Frontier Digital Ventures (ASX: FDV), a leading operator of online classified businesses in frontier markets.
Over the last decade, Patrick has been independently and widely recognised with numerous international awards, including: Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum; New Asian Leader by the World Economic Forum; Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore; Asia’s Best Young Entrepreneur by Bloomberg Business. Patrick has also been included on Forbes Malaysia 50 Richest list and the BRW Rich 200 list.

Luke Elliott
Luke Elliott is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Catcha Group, where he is responsible for all aspects of Catcha Group’s corporate finance activities, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and public listings.
Luke has over 18 years of Asian online experience, with a focus on developing fast-moving online business models and monetising online assets.
He is Co-Founder of Catcha Group’s newest business, iflix, the world’s leading Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) service for emerging markets. He is additionally Co-Founder of iCar Asia (ASX:ICQ) and Frontier Digital Ventures (ASX: FDV), a leading operator of online classified businesses in frontier markets.
Luke has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance from the University of Sydney.
Wee Pang Ming
Wee Pang Ming, or commonly referred to as PM, is the Finance Director for Catcha Group since 2012. He is in charge of the Group’s overall general finance as well as corporate finance, which includes activities such as Due Dilligence, Acquisitions and Initial Public Offering. During his time with Catcha, he assumed a key role in the IPOs of iCar Asia Ltd, Ensogo Ltd and Frontier Digital Ventures Ltd.
Prior to joining Catcha Group, PM was in Audit Assurance for 7 years with KPMG and BDO. His portfolio ranged from telecommunications, property development, print & online media, construction, retail & trading and multi-level marketing.
PM is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in University of Queensland, Australia.
Oscar Ong
As an investment analyst, Oscar provides critical support to the Group in evaluating key strategic decisions and driving execution across the Group’s main priorities.
Prior to joining Catcha Group, Oscar spent 11 months as an Equity Analyst at Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) where he covered the Metals & Mining sector. Oscar also has internship experience at CIMB Investment Bank where he supported M&A transactions and fundraising exercises.
Oscar graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2018 with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Cedric Lee
As an investment analyst, Cedric provides critical support to the Group in evaluating key strategic decisions, potential investments and driving execution across the Group’s main priorities.
Prior to Catcha, Cedric spent a year working in a regional venture capital fund, focusing on early-stage investments in Southeast Asia and China. Cedric has also experienced working in a broad range of industries in technology, PR and banking through internships in firms such as J.P. Morgan and KRA Group.
Cedric enjoys writing on the tech scene in SEA, where his work has featured in J.P. Morgan Insights, e27 and Meet Startup @ Bnext.
Cedric is a graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Cheryl Ting
As an Investment Analyst, Cheryl provides critical support to the Group in evaluating key strategic decisions and driving execution across the Group’s main priorities.
Prior to joining Catcha, Cheryl interned at a crypto hedge fund in Shanghai where she covered global ICO regulation. She also has internship experience in brand and strategy consulting, investment banking and corporate law.
Cheryl graduated from the London School of Economics in 2019 with a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
